Accommodations

Why should I rent a vacation rental instead of a hotel room?

A vacation rental is much more like a home. Each unit is individually owned and is decorated in a unique style. All of the units we offer for rent have full kitchens which can cut down on costs and provide convenience, especially when traveling with children! The pictures on our website are accurate depictions of the unit and its view. Hotels can guarantee a view category but do not let you know the exact unit # nor do they say how good the view will be.

 
What is the difference between VRBO/HomeAway/AirBnB and your site?

VRBO/HomeAway/AirBnB are advertising sites. At this time we have AirBnB and VRBO handle all bookings via the Superhost, Nicole.

Check-in & Check-out

Do you allow early check-ins and late check-outs?

Yes, on a case-by-case basis which must be handled by the approval of the SuperHost

Do I have to check-in by a certain time?
Check-in is at 4pm and guests can arrive any time after. The Marigold Villa has digital keypads and you can go directly to the villa once you receive the code. 

​

What are the check-out procedures?

Check-out is at 10AM on the designated date of checkout. Upon your departure we ask that you take the trash out, secure all windows and doors, turn off fans and lights, and check the BBQ propane tank to ensure it has been secured and turned off.

 

Housekeeping & Maintenance

What are your COVID-19 Cleaning Protocols?

Our Housekeeping service uses cleaning and disinfecting protocols recommended by the CDC and WHO to clean between guests, with particular attention paid to high-touch items such as door knobs, light switches, cabinet pulls, door handles, countertops and high traffic areas.

Can I clean the villa myself upon check-out, rather than using your cleaning services?

No. Guests are instructed not to clean or launder any items in the villa upon their departure. Our housekeeping team follows very strict cleaning and sanitation standards and is required to clean the condo after each guest vacates.

​

Do you provide daily maid service?

In order to keep our rates lower than hotel rates, we do not provide daily maid service. This leaves you with privacy and the convenience of washing your own laundry as the villa has two washers and two dryers.

​

We've run out of toilet paper, dishwashing soap, etc. Can you bring us some more?

The housekeeping provides all amenities during your entire stay.

Is there an after-hours emergency contact number/person for the Marigold Villa?

Yes. Please contact the SuperHost Nicole for all your issues.

Location & Access

​

How do I obtain the keys?

The house is automated with digital keypad and a security system. Once booking is confirmed the guest will receive a 4-digit code unique to them. This code will allow the guest access in and out of the villa.

 

Features & Amenities

​

Is smoking allowed in the villa?

Smoking is strictly forbidden, inside, on the pool area, and within 20 feet of any of the properties. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property. No chewing tobacco, no vaping, no smoking cannabis. Strict illicit drug-free zone.

​

Does the condo come with linens and towels, or do I need to bring my own?

Yes, there is no reason for you to bring your own bedsheets, linen, towels as all these items plus more are available in abundance during your entire stay.

What items can I expect to find in the condo?

The villa is equipped with most items that you would find in the average household. The villa features 2 full-size refrigerators, 2 microwaves, 2 stoves, one oven, utensils, dishes, pots/pans, spices, cups, coffee makers. The bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers, flat irons, iron boards, irons and lots of closet space. Toiletries include shampoo, conditioner, lotions, hand soap.  Laundry detergent, fabric softener, toilet paper and paper towels are all available. There are multiple vacuum cleaners for spills, along with mops and brooms.

Is internet access available in the Marigold Villa?

Yes, complimentary wifi is throughout the house and extends into the patio.

Does the Marigold Villa have air conditioning?

Yes,  we have central air conditioning throughout the house.

​

Are there BBQ's available?

The Marigold Villa has a refillable propane-tank BBQ and a fully equipped downstairs kitchen.

Are beach towels or other beach gear provided?

Beach Towels are included in our regular linen service. The Marigold Villa also has 4 beach chairs, an umbrella and a cooler for travel to the local beach or outing on a boat.

Are cribs, highchairs or toys available at the units?

Yes, a day-care crib is available which is cleaned thoroughly after each guests departs. Toys are plentiful. No highchair is available as the quality of high chairs has not met our standards.

All bookings are done via AirBnB or VRBO with contact to the SuperHost Nicole.​

After Your Stay

​

What is your lost and found policy?
Any items found which are left behind can be picked up during a future booking. We will return your lost item to you if you call us within two weeks of your departure date. A $20.00 handling fee, plus postage, will be assessed for all lost & found items that have been recovered and returned. Any items not claimed within two weeks will be donated to a local charity.
